Battle of the Sphinxes Awesome idea! Though I have to disagree with you on the description, Akkadian sphinx (shedu) is much older than Egyptian, and came to Egypt from there. Much later these cultures somewhat mixed and Persian sphinxes got some features from Egypt sphinxes, but basically they're Akkadian shedus (:
